CTMH- Remarkable Wreath & Memory Box Window Die

Hi there,

A couple of months ago, I purchased a Memory Box 'Window' die from the Crop Shop**.  I saw so many cute ideas on Pinterest.  Most of the pins were of a window looking into a house.  Of course, I had to be a little different.  So, I created a view looking out, sort of from a dining room.

For the 'wall paper', I used CTMH's soon to be retired Sonoma line.  I kept the window decor simple by just attaching a wreath.  And, where did a find a wreath that can be inked up for all seasons???  CTMH's 'Remarkable Wreath' (C1473).  Using colors honey, chocolate, and amethyst and wrapping it with twine did the trick.

I got the sentiment - Family... together we have it all- from CTMH's 'Family Love' (D1506).

I'm pretty happy with how the card turned out.  It reminds me of my parent's dining room and my mother loves wreaths.  Since family is everything, this might make a good 50th Wedding Anniversary card for my folks.

Thanks for stopping by, Maureen:)

CTMH-- Stella LO using 'Fashionista' and 'Just For You' Stamp Sets

Happy Sunday:)

If you are a CTMH fan, then you've seen the cover of the current catalog many times. It features CTMH's Stella paper line and 'Just for You' stamp set. A couple of months ago, I recreated this cover to document the day my daughter's braces were taken off. This was a big deal since it was 4 years in the waiting!!

Well, I never did a second page. Once I received some pictures for her orthodontist, I knew I had the pictures that I was waiting for. The second page not only shows the transformation in her smile, but also the transformation from an adolescent to a young teen.  Wow, I don't know where those 4 years went!

CTMH also carries a number of Alphabet/Numeric sets.  These come in handy when you want to quickly ink something up to match a LO or card.  Here, I used the 'Trinity' Alphabet set (E1021) for the dates and title: transformation.

Other CTMH supplies used:  Stella Paper Pack X7147B; Stella Canvas Shapes X7147B; 'Just for you' Stamp Set B1398; 'Fashionista' Stamp Set D1504; Neutral Brown twine Z1701; Bohemian Assortment(Lace) Z1687; Chocolate Ink Pad Z2111; and Olive Mini Accents Z1489.

Remember, the buy 2 stamps sets, get 1 free runs through the end of June.

Thanks, Maureen:)

Intermediate Certification in Copic Markers

Yes, I did it!  I completed a 2 day Copic Marker Intermediate Certification process.  And, boy was it tough!!  We learned about light sources, shading, blending, feathering and flicking.  All I can say is wow!!  I never knew there was so much to learn about basic art!

Our instructor was Marianne Walker from the Copic Corp Office in Washington State. I also met a nice group of women at the session.  We plan to keep in contact and challenge each other.

What does the 'Certification' mean?  It means that I can teach classes on how to use Copic Markers.  What about CTMH?  CTMH is still my favorite, preferred and go to product.

So, I'll point out projects here and there where I use Copic Markers. Please bear with me as I continue to perfect my skills.

Thanks, Maureen:)

CTMH-- Super Powers Card; Father's Day

Hi, what a wonderful day-- sunny, low 70's and a Father's Day cookout.  Who could ask for more!!!  Well, maybe the mothers that did all the work!!

To help celebrate Father's Day, I made this card for my husband.  He's a kid at heart and does seem to have super powers at times.  He may not be able to leap tall buildings, but check out the pictures below.  Can he eat a whole cake in one bite?!?!

CTMH has a great line called "Super Hero's".  The line has coordinating paper, metal badges, rub-ons and Super Hero's stamp set.  Again, all the colors go together, so you can look like a genius by putting the papers together, so easy.

I couldn't stop at the Super Hero's card, so I had to get my husband a Super Man apron for grilling.  I did the grilling today, but made him put it on afterwards. After all, I need some good pictures to scrapbook:)

Both of our fathers joined in the celebration today.  Hope you all had a wonderful day:)  And, Happy Father's Day to all!

CTMH-- American Celebration Stamp Set

Hi, well we are four days away from the start of summer and you know what that means-- cookouts, camp, the beach, and the July 4th!  Fun times are ahead:)

To help celebrate the 4th, I created this card using CTMH's 'American Celebration' stamp set (D1458).  There is also a Canadian version.  Because I seem to have this fascination with bicycles, I also used the 'Enjoy Life' stamp set (C1439).

Growing up in the Boston area, the 4th of July meant a time for parades and opportunities to decorate our bikes.  With that in mind, I used CTMH's Bitty Bling, Sparkled Flourishes, and Silver Glitz.  The flag is one of those decorated tooth-picks that can be found at Walmart.

Well, I may have used a too much bling!!  But, can you ever have enough bling?....  Right, BLING  IT  ON!!!

Lastly, the inks used were CTMH's Sunny Yellow and Pacifica Blue-- Z2151 & Z2192.

Thanks, Maureen:)

I remember when I decorated my bike for parades.

CTMH-- Victory Workshop on the Go (WOTG) , Father's Day Card

Hello, it's hard to believe that Father's Day is two weeks away!  To me, it always a reminder that summer is just around the corner.  It's also a good time of the year to start up the grill and cook a meal for my dad.

To create my dad's card, I used all CTMH products.  The Victory WOTG contained the coordinating paper, a set C size stamp, and durables.  Durables are masculine metal studs.  I also used CTMH Corrugated Shapes (star that was inked), Hemp (string) and an Olive Metal piece.  The inks:  Olive, Chocolate, and Bamboo.

I cut out a pocket and elevated it and put a hidden sentiment in there.  It can also be used for gift card.  My father's favorite gift is lottery tickets!  Maybe sometime he'll win big!!

Thanks for stopping by, Maureen:)
