CTMH Oh Deer Pocket Scrapbooking

Hello, I hope you had a wonderful holiday!

Our Winter Wonderland crop is only 2 weeks away!  We are fortunate that our talented and ultra crafty friend, Jean MacLeod, will be teaching a class at the overnight!

Jean will be teaching a technique called "Pocket Scrapbooking".  You may be asking yourself, what is Pocket Scrapbooking?  Isn't this just "Project Life (PL)"?

Well Pocket Scrapbooking resembles Project Life in that it allows you to scrapbook quicker.  It is different than Project Life in that you are you not restricted in using PL cards and can do what you want.  With Pocket Scrapbooking, you can create a 12 X 12 standard LO and then insert a page of pocket sized pictures and embellishments.  You can then do another 12 X 12 page and put in some "Flip Flaps" or choose from a variety of different size protectors-- maybe a 6 X 12 or 4 X 12.

The goal is to make it a bit faster and of course fun:)

Below is the class that Jean MacLeod will be teaching at the Winter Wonderland Overnight.

You can see that Jean starts with a 12X 12 LO.  Like many of us, Jean has too many pictures of this event.  See below how Pocket Scrapbooking helps.
Here is the page of Pockets. Each of the protector either stores a picture or a design/embellishment.  By using this technique, Jean was able to squeeze in another 6 pictures and tie the design to her first LO.  But is she done?

By using a flip flap, Jean added another photo and created a place for her journaling.

The cost of this class will be $22 and includes all materials pre-cut, plus one Memory Page Protector. Please sign up on tab called Kits.

Thanks for stopping by, Maureen
