CTMH Into the Wild

Hi, I'm back again this time with some layouts.  CTMH has a cute new line called 'Into the Wild'.  The colors are perfect for all things outdoors.

Here's a look at the LOs.

For the first LO, I cut out a large 7.5 inch star in Sapphire CS and then various circles.  Using Fern, I cut out some star borders.

For the second LO, I used a Pewter Gray LO base and the layered the various patterned paper. I used a die cut for the two circles and cut out the Explore banner from the 'Cut Out' sheet.
For the last LO, I used the CTMH Cricut Going Places Cartridge.  I cut out the scenic view title and the compass in Sapphire blue and White.

These kits will be ready to ship on on June 25.  If you'd like to order a kit, please see the kit tab on blog.  On July 13th, I will be teaching this LO class in Braintree.

CTMH Birthday Cards

Hello and happy June!

My fellow crafters asked for some birthday cards.  I used both the CTMH 'Sweet Girl' and 'Craft On' paper packs.

For the first card, I used the 'For My Bestie' stamp of the month (sotm).  This was actually May's sotm, but I saved it for now.  If you missed out on this stamp, I have a few more in my stash.

The next stamp is from the current catalog-- its called 'My Cup of Tea'.  Its a stamp and thin cut set.  I paper pieced the tea cup to add a floral pattern.

For the 3rd card, I used the Thin Cut 'Stitched Flowers' and the Hb-day sentiment from 'Party Balloon' Thin Cut and Stamp set.

Let's shake it up with this 4th card! I just love shaker cards.  CTMH came out with a stamp set called 'One Year Older' to go with the stitched shaker circle.  I stamped a present inside of the shaker.  You can also stamp the age.

The last card I used the 'Party Balloon' stamp and thin cut set.  I paired it up with a Raspberry banner.

I'll be teaching this card class on Saturday, 6/22 in Norwell.  If you can't make it and would love a pre-cut kit, please let me know.

Thanks, Maureen

CTMH-- Something Fierce

Hi,

I am almost caught up posting my work.

Here's another layout of my daughter Abby.  While at camp, her friends buried her in the sand.  When I saw this picture, I immediately thought of CTMH's Something Fierce line.  The line is vibrant and is all things fun!

Something Fierce is no longer available. If you missed ordering this line and want it, then please contact me.  I have several packs for sale.

CB-- Deep Blue Sea Layout

Hello,

If you haven't noticed, I have a thing for Carta Bella:)  The paper quality is awesome and the designs are classic.

Carta Bella's Deep Blue Sea line just came out in May and I scooped one up!  I used the paper line to document a trip to Camden, Maine.  While visiting, my husband and I took a boat tour of Camden harbor.  Being a lighthouse fan, I took some pics of Curtis Island and Indian Island lighthouses.

Here's a closer look at one of the pages:

Well that's it for now. Thanks for stopping by, Maureen

PhotoPlay-- Those Summer Days

Hello,

I told you that I'd post more!

My youngest daughter spent the day at Nantasket Beach in Hull MA. It wasn't the sunniest of days, but Abby and her friend, Emma, had a blast.  Check out those back bends!

This paper line is very vibrant and screams all things summer.  I cut out the title using one of CTMH's cricut cartridges.

To showcase all of the patterned paper, I cut a bunch of 2 x 8 strips. Here's a closer look at one of the pages:

Summer will be here shortly and I can't wait!

PhotoPlay-- Fetch Layouts

Hi, I'm just catching up and posting some of my work.  I'm going to try to post more frequently.

I had a bunch of pictures of our dog, Rosie.  I can't believe that Rosie will be 10 this November!  Time flies.

My oldest daughter, Shaelin, is like the PUP-ratzi.  She is constantly snapping pictures of Rosie.  Here's a LO which captures some of these shots.  I got the sketch idea from Pinterest and carried it through to the second page.

I still had loads of paper left and did one more page.  Here, Shaelin captured Rosie sleeping.  What a cutie!  I used CTMH's Artistry for the dog-print overlay.  I purchased the title from Petticoat Parlor.

Well that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, Maureen

Carta Bella-- Baseball Layout

Hello, I'm back again with another Carta Bella LO.  This time I used the 'Baseball' line which came out in February.  Once I saw this line, I just knew that I had to have it!

The line comes with a bunch of colors, but I choose colors that matched the Red Sox.  I also cut out a some logos and some baseballs.

Here is a closer look at the first page:
See the felt Team banner-- that is from Bella Blvd.  I love to mix up layers and materials.

Thanks for stopping by and go Sox's!

Carta Bella-- Pack Your Bags

Hello,

This summer, my daughter and I traveled to China for an adoption heritage trip.  We met ~15 other girls that were Abby's Age.

I couldn't resist using Carta Bella's Pack Your Bag Collection kit.  The first layout is memories from the LONG flight home.  Seven hours into the trip and 2 movies later, I realized that we were only 1/2 way home!  As the pictures show, I am very tired:(

Here is a close up of the LO.  Using twine, I drew the route from Singapore to Boston.

I also used this paper line to document Abby's Scooter ride!  Abby hitched a ride in Hunan.  Scooters were everywhere!

The trip to China was a trip of a lifetime.  I'll have lots more to share:)

CTMH--- Feels Like Home 8 page LO

Hello and happy Sunday!

For some reason I am so looking forward to Spring this year.  It's strange because overall Boston did not have a bad winter.  We only had a couple of storms which is not the norm for us.

Moving onto Spring... I created an 8 page scrapbook kit using CTMH's Feels Like Home.  This line has beautiful greens, sugarplums, sapphire blue, grey and black and white colors, complete with shiplap!

Here is a closer look at the pages.  To add a little pop of color, I cut out some images in Sapphire blue.

For the third LO, I was inspired by Jana Eubank.  To create these squares, I cut out a bunch of 3 inch circles and then scored them using the Cricut.

For the last LO, I cut out a Fern heart and embellished it with the CTMH compliments.

I hope to have lots of Spring memories to fill these pages!

If you would like to order a pre-cut kit or order a consultant guide, please see the Kits tab.  The kits/guides will be available on April 6th.

CTMH: So Much Happy-- 6 page Scrapbook LO

Hello and happy March!

It's been snowing like crazy in the Boston area, but spring is close-- I can feel it:)

My oldest has been studying in Europe this semester.  Using CTMH's So Much Happy line, I created some fun, travel LOs.  So far, my daughter has been to Italy, France and Germany.  Next week, she is going to Spain.  Oh what a life!

Here's the 6 layouts.

The first LO was taken from the Workshop Your Way (WYW).  Because I love all of the paper's colors, I had to have these little strips!  I changed the LO up a bit and added Journey as a title from the CTMH 'You Are Here' Cricut collection.

For the second LO, I cut out a square shape using CTMH's Art Philosophy cartridge.  This cartridge is an oldie but goodie!  And I love the Rainbow &.  Title and sun cut using CTMH's 'You Are Here' cartridge.

For the Last LO, I chose 'Best Trip Ever' as a title.  I also die cut a tag and little heart using CTMH X Thin Cuts

I will be teaching this scrapbook class in April.  Pre-cut kits will begin shipping next weeks.  Cutting Guides and e-files are also available.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Go Spring!

CTMH "I Heart Us"

Hello and happy February!

I'm here today to share 6 pages I created using CTMH's "I Heart Us" paper line.  The paper line is very colorful with its rainbow pattern.  The line works with both boy and girl pictures.

Here's a look at all six pages.

Taking a closer look, you'll see that added some black photo mats and scalloped edges to make this funky design.

For the second LO, I had some family pictures in mind.  So, I cut out a "Our Family" banner.

For the last LO, I used a variety of chipboard and sticker hearts.

I'll be making some pre-cut kits and offering a consultant cutting guide.  If you'd like to purchase one, please click on the Kit tab.

CTMH Feels Like Home Card Class

Hello, I'm back again.

Today I'm heart to show you about some cards I recently created.  Some of the cards use stamps that recently retired.  However, I have a few extra stamp sets as I'll be teaching this class in January at our fourth annual Winter Wonderland Overnight Crop.

For this class, I got a little help from my CTMH friends-- Becca Whitham and Liz Johnson.  Both are fabulous designers and once I saw a couple of their cards my mind was made up!

Here's a close up of the cards:
This is one of my favorite cards.  Liz Johnson of Liz Ann Designs created this and I just changed up the colors to match the Feels Like Home paper line.  Colors:  Sugarplum, Fern, New England Ivy, Sapphire, and Heather.

Here is a card using CTMH's  Thin Cut Borders.  I used the Border set to make a notebook border and a pull tab.  I then used CTMH's retired pull tab stamp set to stamp 'Open Me' and 'Happy Birthday'.

The next card uses CTMH's Shaker and Confetti Die set.  You can purchase silver and gold sequins to put inside the shaker.  There is also a die to make your own confetti.  To match the paper line, I made some Sugarplum confetti.  I used CTMH's Stitched Hearts die set to make the small heart.
To make this card, I used CTMH's Decorative Border set again.  This set is awesome!

The last card is another one of my favs. Becca Whitham created this desgin and I love it!

Also, this is one of my favorite stamp sets and I have 3 in my inventory:)  If you missed ordering this stamp set and need it, please let me know.

I'll be teaching all 5 cards at the January Winter Wonderland Overnight Crop at the Sea Crest Hotel in Falmouth MA.  If you can't make this event, then order your pre-stamped kit now.

Thanks, Maureen

CTMH Heart Happy

Hello and happy new year!

CTMH just came out with a new line called Happy Heart and it is super cute.  So far, I created one layout and wanted to show you.

This LO is very special to me.  The LO documents a 16th birthday party that my youngest daughter attended.  Sadly, one of her friends, Chris, passed away 1 month after this party.  Chris had epilepsy and died from a seizure.  My daughter designed a sweatshirt in Chris' honor to raise money for his family.

I never met Chris, but he will be ever in my heart as someone my daughter truly loved as a friend.

If you'd like to order Happy Heart, then please do so now.  The line is available through February 28 or while supplies last.

Thank you for stopping by today.
