Artbooking with October Afternoon (OA) Campfire

Hi, here's another LO that I did back on my weekend away in November.  Both of my daughters go camping in the summer.  My oldest daughter went to Kippewa in Maine for two years.  In 2012, my youngest did 1 week at a Girl Scouts camp near Cape Cod.

I had the OA Campfire paper for quite sometime.  The images on the CTMH Artbooking cartridge gave me some ideas for the LO.  I cut out a bark overlay in Chocolate Brown CTMH cardstock and backed it in CTMH's Olive Green.

Don't you just love the title "Great Outdoors Adventure".  That was also cut using the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge using CTMH's Cranberry cardstock.

I added a 6X12 CTMH Flip Flap. This let me add 2 more pictures and a GS patch.  I also included 2 postcards on back of Flip/Flap.  Flip Flaps are great because they allow you to add more pictures and memorabilia.

Here's the page idea from CTMH's Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by. Keep creating! Maureen:)

National Papercrafting Month Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit

Hi, check out this video. CTMH is running an awesome special. See my post below for other creations using this fun kit! Thanks, Maureen

CTMH-- Cloud Nine-- Blog Hop!

Hello, if you've arrived here from Katy's Blog, then you are on the right path.  Should you get lost along the way, please click HERE.

In celebration of National Paper-Crafting Month, CTMH is offering a wonderful special!  By placing a qualifying order of $35, you can get this zesty kit, complete with varied die-cuts, a stamp set, and exclusive B&T paper, at a discounted price of only $15. The kit's retail value is $46.  Want more?  This deal will also allow you to purchase the January SOTM for only $5!  Yippee!!

At the bottom of this post is a picture of the cards from this kit.  Below are 3 cards that I created using the soon to be retiring 'For Always' (X7165B) paper line.  I also used some twine and the Cotton Candy Washi tape from the mini Holiday catalog.

To cut the heart swing card, I used the CTMH Artise Cricut Cartridge. The Cloud 9 heart stamp fit perfectly.  I set the card to cut at 4.75 inches. This will make a beautiful Valentine's Day card for my husband.  (Ssssh, don't tell him!)

Don't you just love mustaches!  Here, I copied the same sketch in the kit and just used 'For Always' (X7165B), Cotton Candy Washi tape, and Base/Bling Word Accents (Z1882).

This last card was based on the Cloud 9 kit as well.  My daughters are always breaking into my stash of card.  So, I made enough for a while:)
Above is the original cards that come with the kit. I just loved the colors and designs!  You'll see throughout this blog hop that this set is extremely versatile and works well with many paper lines.  The set can be used for both LOs and cards.  What makes it even better is that images can be cut using the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge!
