Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring May's SOTM called "You've Got a Friend", a cute set of 5 stamps. If you have come here from Judy's Blog, you are on the right path!
This month we have over 55 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants HERE.
Okay, here we go!
When I hear the words "You've got a friend in me" I think of Toy Story. I also think of our dog, Rosie. Rosie is part of our family and she truly is our friend-- loving us unconditionally.
Rosie is also a good sport. Check out this LO! For Halloween, my youngest daughter put a mask on Rosie! The mask made Rosie look like an Angry Bird!
You may be asking yourself, how did my daughter get Rosie to pose for the mask picture? Well, a treat will certainly do it!
The second picture tells the story:)
I hope you enjoyed this LO. Please feel free to follow my blog and/or leave a comment. If you love this stamp and don't have a consultant, then please visit my store or email me.
Next up is Wendy. Be sure to visit Wendy's Blog and all the other consultants' blogs. You will not be disappointed! Thanks, Maureen:)

CTMH Laughing Lola LO
Hi, I'm enjoying my last few days of vacation before I start my new job. Yes, my real job is in Finance. Some day, I'd like to retire and spend a good portion of my days crafting. The only good thing about getting older is that this dream is getting closer!
Anyway, this 2 page LO features CTMH's Laughing Lola "Workshop on the Go" (WOTG). With each paper line, CTMH offers a kit that includes a size D stamp set, paper pack, embellishments and the ever important sketch with instructions.
Typically, I start with the sketch provided and then change it up. Below is what I came up with. I used CTMH's Framework Alphabet (E1027) for the title and added a journal note.
The LO documents my youngest daughter's first real salon experience.
She actually got her hair 'dip dyed'! All of Abby's friends were able to do this technique with chalks or washout rinses. With Abby's black hair the cheaper options were not possible:(
While in San Diego (SD) last year, she asked for this as part of her gift.
Of all of our days in SD this was her favorite!
Since I had nothing to do but wait for Abby, I of course had to have a salon service as well:) I opted for a moisture treatment and blow dry.
Here's a close up of the first page. I used 2 sets of 4X6 Flip/Flaps.
Check out those sayings:
UR Amazing
These were made by stamping the image onto Laughing Lola Gold paper.
Who needs stickers when you can stamp what you want??
If you love the LO and need to have it, just let me know. The kit is retired, but the paper and embellishments are still available. And, I can stamp the images.
Thanks again for stopping by! Have a great day/night:) maureen

CTMH Mother's Day Card-- A Mother's Love Stamp Set
Hello, I'm back with another Mother's Day card. This one was made with the Hostess Stamp specials. For hostesses, CTMH offers hostesses special stamps on pages 6-9 of the Spring/Summer catalog. The stamps are discounted ~ 40%.
For this card, I used the Mother's Love Hostess Stamp ($6.00!!). The flower could be either a lilac or hydrangea. Because I love blue, I made 2 hydrangeas. I stamped the base in Crystal Blue and used Indian Corn Blue for the darker blue.
To give the card some dimension, I popped up one of the flowers, along with the heart.
Here are the other Mother's Day cards.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope the weather is spring-like near you!
Maureen:)

CTMH Mother's Day Cards with 'Ariana'
Hello, hope you had a great weekend! I spent some time designing some Mother's Day cards. The first card's design was inspired by Pinterest. The stamp is from CTMH-- Mother's Day (C1577). The vintage feel looks great with paper doily and shabby chic paper from CTMH called 'Ariana'.
Here's a close up of the card. I made a 3D flower to make the card pop.
Using the same stamp set, I designed another card. The sentiment 'Home is where your mother is' inspired me to stamp a few more mother images.
The images were stamped using CTMH's Outdoor Denim.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great week! Thanks, Maureen:)

CTMH Lollydoodle LO #2
Hi, I'm back with another one page LO using CTMH's Lollydoodle paper line. I have to admit that I wasn't crazy about this paper line. But, I really like the versatility and colors of this line.
I looked through my Pinterest boards for inspiration for the LO. I found a cute sketch with three banners. I took this idea and went with it, making changes here and there. I'm happy with how it turned out.
Ivy is the name of Abby's American Girl doll. Abby choose Ivy because they both share the same nationality: Chinese.
Last year, Abby and I attended an American Girl tea party in our town. In addition to the tea, we had Ivy's hair styled-- what a treat!
For the title, I used some old CTMH letters. The letters are white and you just rub some ink on using a dauber. I used Juniper and Cotton Candy.
I needed a few more coordinating embellishments, so I broke out my CTMH Washi tape stash!
Here, I just taped white cardstock and cut the hearts out using my Big Shot machine. You can also use the Cricut.
I hope you like this LO as much as I do. Please feel free to leave a comment or 'Pin-it'. Thanks for stopping by-- Maureen:)

CTMH Lollydoodle LO
Hello, my oldest daughter turned 16 in late March. To celebrate, she had over 20 girls over last night. After running around all day getting things for the party I was able to retreat to my scrap-room last night:) Here's a picture of the stunning cake:
It was a fondant cake from a local bakery. I think we saw one to many episodes of Cake Boss!!
The theme was black and pink. I put some black feathers on top.
While the girls settled down, I broke out a CTMH Lollydoodle paper pack and created this LO. The LO was based on a sketch found in one of "Scrapbook Generation's" sketch book.
These pictures were taken at the San Diego airport. Abby and I bought some neck rests for the 5.5 hour flight back to Boston.
Her neck rest should of said 'Drama Queen' instead of 'Dream Queen'! Check out her expression!
Feathers are sooo in right now. I used CTMH's Feather Stamp set to make these cute feathers in coordinating colors.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week! Maureen:)
