Nevermore LO #2-- Halloween

Hi, I'm back again with the second LO using CTMH's Nevermore paper line.  One of the saying in the sticker pack is "Go Batty".  With that in mind, I went batty and cut a bunch of bats using CTMH's new Cricut cartridge, Artistry.  Check out the all the bats!

Here is a close-up of the first page.  For sketches I often turn to Scrapbook Generations.  I found a fun one with witches hats.  With all the Cricut images I have, I don't have a witch hat.  But, I did have a triangle from Artistry and an oval from Art Philosophy!  I then cut out some banners and decorated them-- fun and spooky!

For the second page I continued the bat theme.  You may notice some splattered grey ink.  Well I cheated!  CTMH has a new stamp that contains various ink spots-- its called 'Ink Blot'.  I love the Ink Blot stamp set because not only can you control the splatter, but it doesn't take long to dry!  Definitely a must have stamp.

Here's an image of the Ink Blot stamp set.  It's on page 92 and is $17.95.

Thanks, Maureen

Nevermore LO #1-- Halloween

Hello and happy Fall!  We are having quite the Indian Summer here in the New England area.  The warmer temps have slowed down the changing of the leaf colors.  I'm okay with this since I usually miss the peak leave season!  Since the leaves are late in changing maybe I'll be on time this year:)

To stay ahead of the game, I made 2 spooky Halloween layouts.  Below is the first one using the CTMH Nevermore paper line.  Nevermore has a vintage look and the embellishments are fun.

Here is a close-up of page one.  Each embellishment pack comes with a set of stickers and emphoria-- a mixture of things.  Check out the web in the corner and the craft BOO banner. Love it.
For page 2, I used the 'Sweet Treats' stamp and back it in Pear.  Love the little trick or treaters on the craft paper!

Tomorrow I will showcase the second LO for Nevermore.  I'll be teaching these LOs at the November 7th 12+ hour crop. If you can't attend there will be a shipped option.

Thanks and have a great day, Maureen:)

CTMH-- Steampunk Scoundrels

Hello, I'm back again with one more Halloween card!  This time I used a funky stamp set called "Steampunk Scoundrels".

This stamp is ultra cool and as the name implies is steampunk, with loads of gears and screws.  I choose to stamp the spider image.   The chevron embossing gives the card some dimension.

Here is a close up of the card.  The sentiment is from the stamp set.

Below is picture of the stamp set.  The set is only $9.95.

Thanks for stopping by! Maureen

CTMH-- Trick or Treat Sweets:)

Hello, I'm trying to keep ahead of things this season.  Here are more Halloween treats!  I created them using CTMH's 'Tricks or Treat Sweets' stamp set-- only $9.95.

I got the idea for the card from the Atlantic Hearts Challenge Blog.  I recently started following their blog.  They post weekly sketches that help you keep those creative juices flowing.

For the embossing, I used CTMH's Quatrefoil embossing folder.  To make it stand out, I sanded it down a bit.  Next, I cut out 3 1.25 inch circles and stamped these cute images.
The stamp set also comes with this cute label!

So, I had to make a bag and embellish it with other ghostly items:)
is a Below is a picture of the stamp set. The label or sentiment can be cut out using CTMH's Art Philosophy Cartridge-- see outline in red.

I hope I got you inspired to make some Halloween fun! Go get crafty my friends.
Thanks, Maureen

CTMH Halloween Card-- Little Monsters

Hello,

It's been a while since I've made a card.  On Labor Day I was able to make this cute Halloween card using the "Little Monster" stamp set from the Seasonal catalog.
I embossed the cardstock using CTMH's new embossing folder: Confetti, X3118.

Below is a look at the adorable stamp set.  I chose to stamp the little witch.  I think I'll do the Frankenstein next!  I used the sentiment Happy Halloween.  The Spooky Cute sentiment can be cut using one of CTMH's Cricut cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by, Maureen
