Let's Get Sketchy-- February 2020 Sketch CB Winter Market

Hi everyone,

It's time for the Let's Get Sketchy challenge for February!

For my project, I choose to work with Carta Bella's Winter Market.  I just love the colors and style of this line.

To follow the sketch, I broke out my Distressed Oxide Inks and stencils.  Sketches not only help with scrapbook design but also challenge you to try something new.

Here's the fully scrapbook LO.

CTMH Happiness Lives Here Scrapbook Kit

01 09 10

 Hi everyone,

CTMH has a new line called Happiness Lives Here.  This line is stunning and compliments well with Canary Yellow and Blue Belle.

The Layouts can be used for all things family, sunshine and fun!

For the first Layout I drew some circles using my old Creative Memories circles.  I just traced them three times each.

For the second LO, I cut a House banner using CTMH's Artistry Cricut Cartridge.  Even though CTMH now sells smaller Cricut collections, I still use the older collections that had 700 images each.

For the last LO, I used CTMH's Stencil pack #3.  This pack has the sunburst which works perfect with the title Sunshine.  There's just one problem with this LO-- I spilt coffee on it!!  I am so bummed out.  I'll have to redo it later.

This kit will be ready to ship next week.  The cost is $39 for all 6 pages, pre-cut.  To pre-order your kit, check out the kits tab above.

Thanks for stopping by.

CTMH Perfect Match Blog Hop

 Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Perfect Match Blog Hop!

If you've come here from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right path.  Should you get lost along the way, then click Here to find your way.

For this hop, we have close to 20 CTMH consultants.

For my project, I did both a card and Scrapbook Kit!

I just love the colors of this line.  To bring out the blues I used Carolina and Mint with the CTMH Geometric Grid Die set.  The set is still available.

Next, I used CTMH Scalloped Circle Thin Cut. I'm not a huge Valentine Day's fan, but this card will be perfect for any other occasion.

Earlier this month, I created a 6-page Scrapbook kit using Perfect Pair.  Again, I tried to keep it non-Valentine's.  To see all of my pre-cut kits, click on the Kits Tab.

The Perfect Pair line will be available through the end of February or as supplies last.  If you don't have a consultant, then you can visit my Store.

Please be sure to visit all of the consultant's blogs.  Next up is the talented Katy Taylor, click Here.

For my project, I used the 'Happiness Lives Here' line.  This line is perfect to help document our time at home.  Who would ever believe that it has been 9 months since the pandemic started!

For the layout, I used CTMH's 'Happiness Lives Here' and Artistry Cricut files.  In addition to the paper  and stickers, I used the 'Happiness Lives Here' Wooden Shapes and Cardstock, along with Blue Belle Pearls.

Here's a close up of the first page:

I hope this post inspired you to check out the January/February catalog.  This catalog is available through the end of February.  If you don't have a CTMH consultant, then please visit STORE.

CTMH Perfect Pair Scrapbook Kit-- Redo!

 Hi everyone,

Last week I shared my 'Perfect Pair' Scrapbook kit.  I had originally created 4 pages, but it was missing something.  So, I added another 2 pages, making it a 6-page LO.  I also changed up the one of the pages.  Overall, I'm now happy with the end result!

I also tried to make this kit non-Valentine's.  The kit is generic and can be used for just about anything.  In fact, I scrapped one of my Beijing China adventures using this kit.

I have limited number of these kits available.  Please see the kits tab to order yours today.

Thanks for stopping by and stay safe.

CTMH January SOTM Blog Hop

Hello,

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring January's SOTM, which is called 'Every Thank You', a set of 25 stamps.

If you have come here from Michele's Blogyou are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.

If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda's Blog.

This month we have 20 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

For this stamp set, I created four thank you cards featuring the retired Serenity paper.  Serenity is one of my favorite CTMH lines, so I just had to use it one more time!

In addition to the January SOTM and Serenity paper line, I used a number of CTMH products.

This card was made using the 'Heart Background' Thin Cut.  I used this die with Toffee cardstock.  To get a variety of hearts, I also cut out other pattern papers.

For the next card, I used CTMH's Heart Shaker Thin Cut set-- I can't get enough of these shakers!

For the next two cards, I used CTMH's 'Floral Lace' Embossing folder.  I also used the Stitched Circles and Fancy Bracket Thin Cuts.

To complete the set, I used CTMH's 'Thanks' thin cut.  (The Thanks thin cut is not part of the SOTM set.)

I hope this post inspired you to make some Thank You cards.  This stamp set is available for only $5 with a $50 order or you can earn it free as CTMH VIP!  If you don't have a CTMH consultant, then please visit STORE.

Next up is the talented Alyson, please be sure to check out her Blog and all of the CTMH consultant blogs.

Thank you and happy new year!

Maureen

Let's Get Sketchy January

 Hi everyone,

This is my first post for the Let's Get Sketchy Design Team-- I'm so excited!

For this sketch, I used Close To My Heart's (CTMH's) new line called Perfect Pair.  I love the strong colors of this line.

I have a habit of stretching out sketches and creating two page LOs. For this LO, I documented a dinner at Peking Duck in Beijing China.  We had such a great time during our China trip.  I look forward to travelling again soon.

Here is a close-up of the first page.

Please be sure to check out the other designer sketches Here and play along!

Thank you for stopping by. Maureen
