Happy Monday!
Here in the Boston area, everything is shut down (school, work, transportation) as we bear down and feel the impact of Hurricane Sandy (a.k.a. Franken-storm). Well, what is a girl to do when you can't venture outside?? Scrapbook of course!!
Below is a kit that I prepared back in March. I knew I used the pages to document my daughter's graduation from Jr. High. Once I had the pictures and was ready to place everything down (last night), it was sooo easy. To future document my daughter's event, I stamped on images cut using CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. CTMH also carries a line of cork Alphabet and Shapes. Those can also be stamped on.
If you love this paper, it is still available in CTMH's current catalog. Please see items listed at the bottom.
Thanks, Maureen:)
CTMH Supplies:
Cricut: CTMH Art Philosophy (letters, flowers, stamed shapes) (Z1686)

Paper: Pemberley Paper Pack (X7148B); Pemberley WOTG no longer available (boo hoo!)
Other: Hemp (Z280) ; Cork Color Ready Shapes (Z1719); Mocha Gems (Z1333)

CTMH-- Pear & Partridge Christmas Cards; 1st Batch!
Hello,
Well it's that time of year for us card makers-- Christmas card time!! It takes me a bit to get in the Christmas card mood because the leaves are falling outside and the weather is simply perfect. However, if you wait too long, you find yourself in a big rush trying to get all your cards made, presents bought and house decorated.
Well, I can't promise that your gifts will be purchased on time or that your house will be perfectly decorated, but I can help you complete your Christmas Cards on time:) On November 18th, please join us as we create the cards below. For $15.00, we'll make 5 cards in all. If you want more, then stay a bit longer and stamp away. Just let me know the quantity ahead of time. The class is now posted on the 'Workshop tab'. In addition to the cards below, well make another 15 cards by using the CTMH Card Kit. (Early December). So no worries about the cards:) I've got you covered. (Maybe that will leave you time to help me Christmas shop!?! Only kidding!)
If you notice, I made a card with a gift holder. I purchased a little pack of craft envelopes. A similar shape can be cut with the CTMH Cricut Cartridges.
Two of the cards on the first picture below were inspired by Mojo Monday sketches. (Although my nickname is Mojo, these are not my sketches!!) For the third card on the right, Vicki Wizniuk, a fellow CTMH consultant, inspired it. Please visit Vicki's blog and you are sure to become a follower of her!

CTMH-- Abundance Thanksgiving 6X6 Card; Flirty Paper
Hello, when it comes to Thanksgiving, I have to admit I typically don't like the cards. I love the fall, but by the time Thanksgiving comes, all the leaves are gone and we are just a snow fall away from winter:(
So in order to make Thanksgiving more exciting, I used CTMH's Flirty paper line and matching embellishments. Wow, what a difference! For the cornucopia, I used CTMH's new Abundance stamp set. I colored in the image with CTMH's new line of alcohol based markers. Compared to Copics, CTMH's alcohol markers are so much easier to use. Each marker set is only $5.95 and comes with two shades. There's no need to have to figure out what color to match with Copics' RV11?!?
All the CTMH products are listed after the picture. My husband actually likes this card-- wow, this is even better than winning the Liebster!
Let me know what you think.
Thanks, Maureen:)
CTMH Products
Stamp: Abundance (d1519) $17.95
Paper: Flirty Paper Pack (x7160b); Kraft card-stock (z1375)

Other: Sparkling Brown Gemstones (z1753), Autumn Lane Assortment (z1749); Boutique Assortment (z1763); Retired Metal (yellow); and Almond Glitz (z1769)

CTMH-- Bountiful Season Card & CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge
Happy Fall! This is typically my favorite time of year. I don't know if it's because I love seeing the leaves change colors, the beginning of a school year, or the smell of the autumn air? Just really nice in New England.
Well, I'm at the tail end of my cold, which I think was actually the flu. When you have the flu you quickly realize how important it is to get a flu shot. It's day 10 of my illness-- not fun:( So, please get a flu shot this year. I am!
Anyway, CTMH has a Fall 'Quick Card' stamp called Bountiful Season, page 85 of the catalog. The stamp is only $6.95, such a bargain! To give the leaf multiple colors, I first stamped the image in Chocolate Ink and then rocked the edges in Olive. Finally, to add additional color, I dobbed on Autumn Terracotta and Sunset inks. With all those colors, I then stamped the image onto a shape cut with the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge. I also used the CTMH cartridge to cut out the card, and frames. (I may look like a pro, but this is so easy with the CTMH cartridges!)
All CTMH products are listed after the pictures.
Thanks for looking and remember to get a flu shot!
Maureen:)

Liebster Award-- My first blog award:)
Yippee-- I won!!!
In July of 2011, I started blogging. At the time, I didn't know how to take blog pictures and had 3 followers, all of whom were family members-- including me! I remember reading other blogs and seeing all the awards that fellow blogger had earned. For instance, a local fellow CTMH consultant (Debbie Carriere) had so many awards that she had to create a separate page!
So, I continued this blogging journey, had my artwork occasionally pinned on Pinterest, and slowly earned followers along the way. I remembered when Tamra Pope started following me. As a blogger, you are both honored to gain another follower and at the same time surprised. You think-- wow, maybe I'm not so bad! Seems like some artists, particularly myself, often see the mistakes and not the creativity and uniqueness.
I would like to thank Tamra Pope, a fellow CTMH consultant, for the award. Tamra's work is phenomenal. She recently won the 2012 Album of the Year at CTMH's annual convention in Texas. If Tamra hadn't just earned an award, I would have nominated her myself. Please check out Tamra's blog. Expect to be there for a while:)

Here's some Halloween cards that I designed over a week ago. I turned to my Mojo Monday sketches for inspiration. Once I started going, I began to deviate from the sketches, of course!
All the products are CTMH and are listed after the pictures. Thanks for looking and Happy October! Maureen:)
