CTMH-- Laughing Lola Card Kit (WOTG); Artbooking

Hi, I had a day off.  So, lots of time to scrap:)

With each new CTMH catalog, there is always a paper line that stands out.  Sophia, Lucy, Dakota, Avonlea, and Chantilly are just a few of my favorites. In the Fall/Winter catalog, the Laughing Lola paper line is the stand out line for me. The colors are rich and bold, with lots of accessories-- stamps, bling, and dimensional items.

Below is a card that I created using the Laughing Lola Card-making WOTG Kit.  The Card-making Kit is priced at $24.95-- $5.00 less than the scrapbook kit.  It contains enough material to make 15 cards, plus left-overs.  The stamp set has images that can be cut out on the Cricut Artiste cartridge and then stamped on.  This saves so much time!

The stamp set is versatile and can be used cheer someone up, give them hugs or wish them continued happiness.

One of my fellow scrapbook friends was recently in an auto accident.  Being a card maker, I know how nice it feels to receive hand-made cards.  I'm hoping this card will let my friend know how much I am thinking of her and wishing her well:)

To make the card more dimensional, I used CTMH's new Cricut cartridge-- Artbooking. Here, I cut out a 4 inch heart overlay in Pear cardstock. These overlays can be cut as big as 12 x 12 or much smaller for card.

Below are other cards you can make from the kit:

Thanks for stopping by, Maureen:)

CTMH-- Footloose 'Memory Showcase' Book

Hi, CTMH's Footloose paper line has been retired for a while.  Luckily, I saved a stash of 5 Footloose Kits:)  Three of the kits were used to make 3 'My Creations Memory Showcase' (Z1195) books shown below, with lots of paper left over!   Shelley, Penny and I just love how the books turned out.  The other 2 kits were sold at my crop when others saw this super cute paper line.  If you missed out on this paper line, then check out CTMH's Surf''s Up or Tommy lines for more summer fun!

CTMH's Showcase accordion style album is such a bargain at $3.95.  You can whip up a project quickly with any of CTMH's lines because everything is so easy to match!

Thanks, Maureen

If you notice, I used a number of 'Polaroid' picture frames in this book.  CTMH's new 'Artbooking' cartridge has loads of these cool Polaroid frames.  Unfortunately, I did not have the new 'Artbooking' cartridge at the time, so I cut the images on my wicked expensive Cameo Silhouette:(   Well, no more despair for me or you since Artbooking has over 700 of these cool images!  I'll be showcasing an Artbooking project each week in August.  So, stay tuned:)

Echo Park-- Bella Road and Special thanks to my first follwer-- Nancy K

Hi, I hope you all are enjoying the summer.  It's been quite hot here in Boston.  I'm not much of a pool person, but I'd jump in everyday if we had a pool-- preferably a salt water pool:)

Anyway, my blog now has over 150 followers, both through blogger and email!  Yippee!!  I remember 1-2 years ago, I kept saying, 'why am I doing this?', 'what if my work (or my neighbors) read this!'.  Well, all sort of questions.

My very first follower was a local craft teacher/designer, Nancy K.  Nancy's work is beautiful-- so detailed, just stunning.  I felt so honored to have her as a follower, my first follower.  When Nancy relocated to a much warmer southern state, I was glad she continued to read my blog and comment.

In addition to being my first follower, Nancy made quite an impression on me.  She would often give me advice or highlight something that she liked.  After winning 1st place during a local weekend crop (LO below), Nancy told me that I had real talent.  This was turning point for me because I finally saw that talent in myself-- no more doubts.

When I saw the CTMH military stamps, I thought of Nancy right away.  Her son is actively serving as a Marine and just re-enlisted for another 4 years!  As a small token of my appreciation, this stamp set is for Nancy.  Nancy, thanks for following me and believing in me!  Thank you also for your son's support-- we have much to be grateful for!

Hello, CTMH did it again!!!  They came out with a new cartridge with over 700 images, 3 stamp sets and 3 sets of dimensional images!!  The focus of this cartridge is 'Art-booking'.  If you've noticed lately, scrapbook pages and cards are changing.  There are now lots of arrows, shapes and 12x12 templates-- like a background full of sun rays or circles. Until this cartridge, you have to buy an expensive Cameo Silhouette in order to cut these trendy shapes or buy numerous dies. Well, thanks to CTMH, there is now a more cost effective option-- the CTMH Art-booking Cartridge!

If you love making mini-books, then this cartridge offers many options in sizes and shapes!  It even includes a number of templates for books-- travel, snapshot, baby, summer, kids, etc.

In terms of card-making, this cartridge has those trendy 'polaroid' shapes, arrows, and background templates-- tree bark, hound's-tooth, sun rays, circles, etc.  It also has many shapes for card-making, including ones that can be used with the coordinating CTMH stamps.

For scrapbooking, there are a number of sample pages to cut out.  They cover every occasion-- Christmas, snow, birthday, school, beach, travel, etc.

This cartridge will be available on August 1st. I can pre-order it for you and offer you free shipping and no tax (US Only)!! This is a savings of over $14!   The cost is just $99.  With this purchase, you will be eligible for the August SOTM for an additional $5.00.  Want more... with each purchase, I will also mail you the new CTMH Fall/Spring catalog in July, a $3.95 value, for free!
