CTMH Fundamental Blog Hop

Hello,  welcome to the CTMH Fundamental Blog Hop!  If you came here from Haley's Blog, then you are on the right track.  The hop is one large circle and should you get lost along the way, please click HERE.

For my project, I decided to use the new 'My Boy' Compliments (z3306) and both the Enchantment Fundamental (z3254), Rustic Fundamental (z3262) and Up-Town (z3263) paper lines.  The My Boy compliments came out in the Seasonal 1 catalog and go perfectly with the Fundamental lines.  Although these compliments are meant for boys, they worked well in the 2 LOs for my daughter!

Also, I love how the Fundamental line and the Compliments help me scrapbook day to day and non-holiday events.  Here, they helped capture two very different events.

The first LO is of my daughter going to a NE Patriot's game.  She is wearing her beloved "Free Tom (Brady)" tee-shirt:)  She actually had a second shirt that said "Free Brady, Again", which was designed to highlight Brady's on-going struggles with Roger Goodell.  Well, after winning the Super bowl a few weeks ago, I hope the whole deflate-gate/Goodell struggles is behind us!

I absolutely love the 'word search' sheets of the Enchantment line.  It always seems that you can find the words to match your pictures!  I actually found the words "Tom" and "Believe"!

The second LO is my daughter Shae and her friends at the beach at night.  The picture is perfect and hence the title is perfect!  For this LO, I used a page from Rustic (wood-grain) and the B/W sheet from Up-Town Fundamentals, paired with Ruby cardstock.  It all just works, like Gr-animals-- remember those!?

Next up is Tracey Pierce.  Please be sure to visit Tracey's wonderful Blog.

CTMH Dreamin 2-page LO

Hi, I haven't commented on the weather in a while.  Up here in the northeast, its been a mild winter with very little snow.  Last Thursday we did get our first 'real' snowfall of the season-- up to 18 inches in some parts.  Then we had snow last night, 2-3 inches. We expecting another storm on Monday and then another on Wednesday!!!  Looks like we are making up for lost time:)

Okay onto better things... here is another LO using the Dreamin paper line.  A few days ago, I showcased the line documenting my daughter's trip up to Acardia National Park in Maine.

This paper can be used to showcase trips, camping, adventures or even back-yard fun!

I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge and cut out a focal shape to place my picture and title on.

I love the orange and red tones.

For the second page, I carried over the design and used 3 of the Project Life cards that come with the paper pack.  The cards can be used for journalling and for sub-titles, such as my Dream Big.

Below is the 2 page LO together. I also added a Memory Protector to add even more pictures and journaling spots.  See last picture.

I hope you liked this paper pack as much as I did!  This line will only be available through April 30th.  So, be sure to get yours today.

CTMH Dreamin 2-page LO

Hello, I know, I'm on a roll!

Here' a LO using CTMH's new line Dreamin'.  When some of my friends saw this line, they thought young boys.  While it does work for boys, below I'll show how it works to document any type of adventure!

This past summer, my daughter spent one full week in Maine's Acadia National Park.    Here is a LO to document that experience.

Here is the entire 2-page LO.

To fill in some of the blank spaces, I used CTMH's "Ink Blot" (D1660) stamp. Here, I stamped it in Daisy White.

Here's a look at the stamp.  This is a must have for scrapbookers! (I know you could spritz the ink on yourself, but this is a quick, clean way to get that look.)

The Dreamin paper line is available until April 30th or until it sells out.

Come on, scrap those adventures and/or create new ones!

Hello Lovely Cards-- Part II

Hi, I'm back again to share 2 more cards using the CTMH "Hello Lovely" paper line.

The first card uses the "True Love" (D1711) stamp set.

This stamp is this years' Close To My Heart Operation Smile stamp set.  A total of $7 from each purchase of this stamp goes directly to Operation Smile, a non-profit organization that provides surgeries to repaid cleft lips and palates in children.

Here's a closer look at the stamp set.  It can be used for all occasions: birthdays, valentines, and get well. This stamp will be available through June 30, 2017.  Be sure to get yours!

For the last card, I used the "Heartfelt Thoughts" (C1661).  Page X of the Annual Catalog provided the inspiration.  I just love how this paper works with all occasions.

Lastly, here's a look at all 5 cards using the Hello Lovely paper line.

Hello Lovely Cards

Hi, I'm home today sick:(  Looks like I had the flu.  I'm starting to feel a bit better so I thought I'd post some cards I made back in January for our overnight crop.

The cards were made using CTMH's new "Hello Lovely" paper line.  The colors are soft and a hint of  Spring in them.

For the first card, I used the "Hello Lovely-Cardmaking" stamp set.  This set comes with matching dies.

I just love how this card came out-- so elegant.  To color the flower, I used Copics markers.  Afterwards, I used the gold CTMH shimmer brush and added some CTMH Gold Glitter Gems.

The images outlined in blue can be cut out using the coordinated steel die cut.  Cost of stamp and die:  $28.95.

For the second card, I used the "Wreath" Stamp and Die Cut.  For the sentiment, I choose one from the CTMH Flower Market stamp sets.

A Wreath Stamp set (A1193).  Cost $6.95.  Coordinating Steel Die (CC1157) $10.95.

The last card that I will share with you today is the SOTM from January 2017. If you missed out on getting this stamp set, have no fear because I have extras-- just contact me.

I made this card for my husband. Good thing he is terrible keeping up with me blog:)

Tomorrow I'll be back to show you two more cards using the "Hello Lovely" paper line.
