Hi,
We've had blizzard conditions all day today. All of Boston was pretty much shut down. So, what is a crafting girl to do??? CRAFT of course!
CTMH just came out with a new seasonal catalog with 4 new paper lines. The first one is Chelsea and it is stunning. The paper just screams Spring, Gardens, Flowers and more. Works perfect on snowy days like these:)
For these cards, I decided to make some 'Thinking Of You' and 'Sympathy' cards. I don't know if its my age, but I always need these cards.
The first card is my favorite. I saw it in the catalog and just had to make it! For the color, I broke out my paints.
The Stamp set is called 'Chelsea Gardens' and comes with coordinating steel dies.
The second card was cut on the Cricut using the CTMH Flower Market cartridge. My fellow CTMH friend, Julie Carriere of Canada, designed this card. I just changed up the paper and sentiment. The sentiment is from the 'Sending Prayers' stamp set, B1563.
The inspiration for the 3rd card came from the Seasonal catalog. I just changed up the paper and sentiment.
The 'Chelsea Gardens' stamp was used again for this card. To add something extra to this card, I added some Vellum paper and stamped on it. Then I created a layered look inside the cut out circle.
For the next card, I used another of Julie Carriere's designs. Again, I just changed up the paper, sentiments, and embellishments. I just love Julie's work!
The last card uses the 'Sending Prayers' stamp set again. This card can be used as either an sympathy card or an anniversary or Valentine's Day card.
I'll be teaching this class at our Winter Wonderland Overnight crop next weekend. If you are local and would like to attend the class then click .
That's it for now. Wish me luck tomorrow as I dig out!
Thanks, Maureen
