PhotoPlay Monteray Bay

 Hi everyone,

I'm back again with another layout.  This time its from Photoplay.  Photoplay came out with a seaside paper line, Monterey Bay, in early 2020.  Since I live near the coast, I just knew I had to have this paper line.

By adding the Monterey Ephemera pack and a pop of Yellow Saffron cardstock, I created the following LO:

The Layout documents my daughter and her good friends-- Sarah, Maggie and Emma Lynch.  They have all been friends for over 10 years.

Here's a close up of the title.  I like to add a variety of materials in my LO's.  Here you can see wooden shapes, twine, enamel bling, stickers and Ephemera.

Well that is it for now.

Carta Bella Family Night Scrapbook LO

 Hi everyone,

This Spring, Carta Bella came out with their 'Family Night' paper kit.  When I saw this line, I just knew I had to have it.  It's a retro line that can be used to document current family photos or photos from years past.

During the Covid lockdown, we started to play cards to pass the time.  Our favorite game was Rummey 500.  We played this night after night.

Here's the layout I created to document this Covid event:

Here's a close-up of the first page.
I cut the title on my Cricut.  I also fuzzy cut some dice and scattered them on the page.

I always complete each page by journaling by hand.  I decided to type my journaling and added a flip flap for more pictures.

In the Northeast, we are still in Quarantine mode, but can move about.  Just like I have never forgotten the Blizzard of '78, I will never forget Covid-19!

Carta Bella Summer Market

 Hello everyone and welcome Fall!

I'm here to share a Summer LO that I did before Summer started.  I left the photo mats empty and decided to fill them with a Summer memory.

With Covid, we haven't done much travelling this year.  Instead we spent a lot of time in our yard.  I expanded my flower gardens and mulched them all.  Stan tried to grow grass again (!) and we had a shed installed.

One of the gardens has a Raspberry bush.  Stan and Abby planted it ~4 years ago.  Maybe it's because we were home, but it seemed like we had the biggest Raspberry harvest ever!

Here's a few photos of Abby and our dog Leo.

Here's what the blank LO looked like.

What is your favorite summer memory?

Thanks for stopping by,
Maureen

CTMH Creativity in Motion Blog Hop

 Hello,

Welcome to the CTMH Creativity in Motion Blog Hop!  If you've come here from Michelle's Blog, then you are on the right path.  Should you get lost, then Melinda's Blog has a list of all the participants.

There are 15 CTMH consultants participants participating in this blog.

To showcase Creativity in Motion, I chose the 'Party Time'-- CTMH's new line.  And this line is all things birthday and fun!

This year in the height of Covid in the Northeast, my oldest daughter turned 22.  At this time, the State of Massachusetts was in a lockdown.

In order to celebrate, Shaelin's friend came by with a sign and gifts! My daughter met her friend halfway and we all peaked from the windows.

The layout below documents this special, unforgettable 22nd birthday.  I'll be back tomorrow with page 2 of this Layout.

The sentiment SURPRISE worked well for this layout!  Here is a closer look:

To make the layout even more interactive, I added a 4x4 flip on the bottom photo and put more pictures and journaling.  I'm sure we'll never forget this crazy Covid year!

CTMH Seasonal Catalog Blog Hop

 Hello,

Welcome to the CTMH New Product Blog Hop!  If you've come here from Becca's Blog, then you are on the right path.  Should you get lost, then Melinda's Blog has a list of all the participants.

There are 22 CTMH consultants participants participating in this blog.

To showcase some of CTMH's products, I chose the 'Bloom With Grace' line.  And, just as the name implies this line is absolutely stunning!!

I create scrapbook kits (see Kit tab on my blog) and could not resist using this paper line.  This line is perfect for capturing all things fall-- sunflowers, sunny/cool days and fun all around!

Here is a quick look at the pages:

To bring out the colors, I added 'Dessert Rose, Sangria and Cinnamon' card stock.  Desert Sand and Cinnamon are two new must have colors from CTMH.

Here's a closer look at each page.
I love the pop of Sangria in the 'Sunshine' title.  Using the Bloom with Grace Scrapbooking Stamp (Z3769), I stamped around the large circle shape and added a sentiment to the second page.

For the second LO, I cut two Sunflowers from the CTMH Bloom with Grace Cricut collection.

And, here is the final LO

In all three LO's I splattered some Lemonade Shimmer Ink.  I also used CTMH's wooden arrows and their new wooden hearts.  I just love all the different material CTMH offers.

If you do not have a consultant and would like one, then please click on my Store or click to see my KITS.

Next up is Pam, please visit her Blog and all the CTMH consultant blogs.
Thank you, Maureen

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

I've been scrapbooking since my daughter was 4 and now she is 22!!  That is a LONG time.  Over the years, my style has changed from the Creative Memories circles and punches to LO's with many types of product-- twine, metal, enamel, paper, stickers, pop-ups, flips flaps, inking, stamping, cricut cuts-- you name it!

But there has been something I've been avoiding-- mixed media.  The closest I've come to mixed media is splattering paint onto pages.  Lately, I've been watching other designers create and love how they splash some color on by using water coloring or textured paint.

Fortunately, CTMH is now offering a variety of mixed media products.  This will certainly push me even more!

For the LO below, I used CTMH's Textured Paste and mixed in a few drops of Lemonade re-inker.  I then used one of CTMH's new stencils and made the yellow +'s below.

Next, I splattered on some Black shimmer.

Here is a closer look:

As with anything you try, there are ways to improve.  If I could do this LO again, I'd splatter on some light Pink paint splotches instead of Black.  I'd also tone down the daubing and use a lighter color.  But overall, I'm okay-- I was able to document this event for my daughter and try something new!

Thanks for stopping by and see the mixed media products used below.

PhotoPlay-- We are Family!

 Hello and happy Labor Day!

Last night I created with some friends on Zoom.  We used to all scrap together each month, but due to the Pandemic, we have tried to meet on line.  It's not the same, but it will do for now:)

Here's a quick LO that I did using Photoplay's "We Are Family" collection kit.  It helped to document my daughters and their cousins get together. This event took place over a year ago, long before the pandemic.  I can't wait to see everyone again!

Also, in creating Layouts I try to use a variety of materials.  For this LO, I used twine, wood, metal, enamel, paper and stickers.

Thank you for stopping by,
Maureen
