Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring November's
SOTM, which is called Illuminate, a shining set of 15 stamps. If you
have come here from Katy's Blog, you are on the
right path! Should you get lost along the way, click HERE for a list of hoppers.
This month we over 50 Close To My Heart Consultants
sharing their creations using this month's SOTM (and other great CTMH products)
on their blogs. Hopping is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of
the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
For this stamp set I created a LO which documented my daughter's summer trip to Martha's Vineyard, which is located off of Cape Cod. She was very lucky to spend a week there with a close friend and her family!
I have many pictures of her trip, but I just love this one. To me looking out at the wide, open Atlantic Ocean, it represents all that is possible. The sentiments of the Illuminate stamp set are so motivational-- Let your shine shine through, you light up my life, and if there is light in the soul there will be beauty in the person. Beautiful words for a beautiful picture and story!
To cut the sunburst, I used CTMH's Artbooking Cartridge and cut out a 10 inch sun overlay.
On the sentiment, I random stamped the little suns in Honey and stamped the sentiment in Sorbet. Like all of CTMH's products, the products are color coordinated. The Sorbet ink matches the cardstock. By taking out the guess work, it just makes scrapbooking easier! I used CTMH's Keyboard Kraft Alphabet for the subtitle-- Martha's Vineyard.
I hope you are enjoying the blog so far. If you are be sure to leave a comment or follow my blog.
And, if you don't have a consultant and you would like to order the November stamp of the month or any other CTMH products, please see my store: Maureen's Store.

CTMH Sparkle and Shine Holiday Cards
Hello, wow two posts in one day! Well it's that time of year for cards: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lot's to do.
Here are 3 cards that I created using CTMH's Sparkle and Shine paper pack and cards. Unlike the 'Angel Friends' card, the Sparkle and Shine paper and holiday stamps will only be available until the end of January. Because this paper line is so popular, it could sell out. So, if you like it as much as I do, be sure to order it soon!
Typically I design my own cards. However, once I saw two of my fellow consultant's techniques, I couldn't resist using them in my design. The tree design was inspired by Karen Peterson and the tumbling Santa's by Jackie Bluhm.
For the trees, I stamped them first in Slate and then one on white card stock. The tree shape is on CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. By using the coordinating bling and foam tape, I made the ruby inked tree stand out.
Here is a closer look at the tumbling Santa's. I have to admit, I have loads of Washi tape, but don't use them often. This all changed once CTMH expanding their line because it is coordinated to match CTMH's colors: Ruby, Juniper, Slate, and Lagoon. Please note the Sparkle and Shine Washi tap is only available through January 2014. It could sell out beforehand.
Here is an even closer look at the Washi Tape.
If you would like a free copy of CTMH's mini-catalog, then email me at mosmojo65@yahoo.com. Again, first time customers receive 10% off.
So, go get yourself some presents! After all, wouldn't you rather scrapbooking supplies versus an ugly holiday sweater:)
Thanks, Maureen

CTMH Angel Friends Card with Sarita Paper
Hi, as you know CTMH came out with a mini-holiday catalog. The first half of the mini highlights holiday stamps and paper. The second half previews items that will carry onto the 2014 Spring and Summer catalog.
I have some friends that are in need of prayers and thoughts. The Angel Friends stamp is perfect for lifting their spirits. Here, I used the colorful CTMH Sarita paper pack. I paper pieced the Angel's dress and used a combination of CTMH alcohol based markers and Copics. To make the wings transparent, CTMH Liquid Glass did the trick.
If you'd like a copy of the CTMH mini-catalog for free, please email me at mosmojo65@yahoo.com. All new customers receive 10% off their first order!
Listed below were the CTMH supplies used.
Thanks, Maureen:)
The items outlined in red indicate that they can be cut using CTMH's Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. Cutting the shapes out on the Cricut saves so much time.

CTMH -- Card Kit Workshop on the Go (WOTG); Frosted
Hi, wonderful Sunday here. The Red Sox won last night and we are off to the World Series!! So proud because I lived through the 'curse' as a kid, teen and adult. It seemed as though we'd never win. Then we reversed the curse and won in 2004 and 2007!! Maybe 2013 will be a year for us again? We'll see.
Okay, onto Christmas/Holiday cards... I made my first set using the CTMH WOTG Card-Making Kit. The cost is only $24.95 and includes a D-size stamp, 15 cards/envelopes, bling, twine, paper and instructions. This set is valued at $36.78-- savings of $11.83.
I loved the designs in the WOTG. I just changed things up a bit and added some of CTMH's washi tape. I riped off a piece of washi tape and cut a banner edge-- sooo easy!
The Ruby strip looked a little plain to me. So, I just randomly stamped snow flakes on it. Have to love CTMH's stamps because they are clear, which means you can see where you are stamping. To get the shading on the trees, I stamped the first image in Cocoa and then stamped it a second time without re-inking.
I love this card because I love the Polaroid look. I followed the directions here and just added a large bling button.
Below are the CTMH supplies. Thanks for stopping by and go Soxs!!!

Blog Hop: CTMH Holiday from the Heart
Hello, thanks for joining our Holiday from the Heart blog hop! If you've come here from Heather's Blog, then you are on the right path. Should you get lost through-out the way, then go to Melinda's Blog. Melinda has a list of hoppers.
To get us ready for the Winter Holidays, CTMH has come out with a mini-catalog. In it you'll find 24 pages of new ideas which include "Sparkle and Shine" Workshop On The Go Kit, Christmas and Holiday Stamp Sets, exclusive sparkle shapes, Washi tape sets, gift bags, and more!
For the hop, I created two 2-page LO's using the Sparkle & Shine Workshop on the Go (WOTG). For $29.95, the kit comes with a D-size stamp, a paper pack, 2 additional pieces of card-stock, Sparkle & Shine Assortment (flags, etc), pack of Bling Flourishes and those ever important instructions! You will also have some left over supplies and the stamp set that you can use year after year!
I did tweak the LOs a bit by changing them up and adding some silver trim and the Sparkle/Shine Dimensional (chipboard) shapes.
CTMH always sweetens the deal too! When you place an order of $100 or more (retail price) between October 15 and December 31 from the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide and/or the Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book, you qualify for one free star item from the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide. So, if you've been waiting to buy one of CTMH's Cricut cartridges, now is the time to get yourself a present, plus another little present free!
Please be sure to visit all of the consultants blogs. Next up is Michelle. Please go to Michelle's Blog and you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Maureen:)

CTMH Huntington Workshop on the Go (WOTG)
Hi, it's certainly feeling and looking like fall. The leaves are changing colors and are beginning to fall off the trees. It's still warm during the day, but chilly in the mornings and at night.
A couple of weeks ago, my oldest daughter attended a Homecoming Dance at her school. Being in 10th grade, this is a big deal. So, first we got the dress, then the shoes and then the accessories. On the day of the dance, our dear friend Julie came over and did Shaelin's hair and make-up. Per usual, Julie did a spectacular job!
Regarding the LO, the WOTG kits come with directions on how to cut everything! I followed the directions exactly on these LOs and it was easy! The LOs can be used for documenting Thanksgiving, Pumkin Patches or Corn Maze-- all things fall!
Have too many pictures, then use a Flip Flap!
If you can't resist this paper line, then come join us on October 27th in Randolph. We'll be making cards and LOs using this line. If you don't live locally, then visit my store.
Thanks, Maureen

CTMH Sarita Layout
Hi, this past weekend I attended an all day Breast Cancer crop in Dartmouth Mass. The event was successful and I was also successful in creating a three 2 page LOs! Here is the first one I did using the CTMH Sarita paper line.
Don't be scared off by the bold colors of Sarita b/c the paper is extremely easy to work with. Pair the orange with the dark blues, add some pink and voila a nice color combo!
Sarita is my oldest daughter's favorite line. This could be because her bedroom is painted in a color similar to Lagoon and she has orange accents-- an orange comforter and even orange chandeliers!
My daughter is also one of a kind. She is not afraid to take a stand and express her opinions. She also has the ability to make those around her laugh and smile! For me, this LO captured the essence of Shaelin!
Don't you just love round view finder (reel). This stamp set is only $9.95. It's compatible with the Art Philosophy cartridge, so just use the Cricut to cut the circle and stamp right on it!
Having so many pictures, I used a flip flap here. Love CTMH's flip flaps! And, what a bargain at $3.95 for 15 4X6s!
Listed below are the supplies I used. If you are still nervous about stamping on Scrapbooking pages, then come to one of my crops and use my inks and stamps. I'll show you how easy it is to make embellishments!
Thanks for stopping by,
Maureen:)
