CTMH Sept/Oct Catalog New Product Blog Hop

Fall is my favorite time of year.  So, I just could not resist working with the Pumpkin Spice paper line!  Here are two layouts that I created.  

To create these layouts, I used the Pumpkin Spice paper and sticker pack, September SOTM, Papaya Shimmer Trim, and the Pumpkin Spice Wood Stickers. For the splattering effect, I used Gilt Gloss spray and the Sapphire Shimmer Brush.

CTMH Core Catalog New Product Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the CTMH Core Catalog New Product Blog Hop!!  If you came here from Gina's Blog then you are on the right path. Should you get lost along the way, then please see Melinda's Blog for a list of all the participants.

The annual catalog is full of goodies!  I chose to make some cards using the new 'As You Grow' paper line.  This paper is great for both feminine and masculine cards, as one side of the paper is for girls and the other boys.

The first card uses the 'Pumpkin Treats' stamp and thin cut stamps.  My friends are crazy for all things pumpkin and coffee, so I'll get a good use of this stamp:)

The second card is a slimline card using the 'Ooh la la Macarons' stamp and thin cut stamp.  I just love Macarons, along with my daughters, so I'll use this stamp a lot!  Also, if you haven't done so already, check out all the new slimline thin cuts.  They make creating slimlines easy!

The next card uses 'Rustic Sign Sentiments' stamp and thin cut set.  Just as the name implies, this set has many sentiments-- Happy Birthday, Miss You, Love, and Get Well.  You many have noticed that I used a pop of color on all of these cards-- Wild Berry, the CTMH color of the year.

The last card uses a stamp set from the Seasonal catalog called 'Thoughtful Critters' stamp and thin cut set.  I just couldn't resist pairing this set with the As You Grow paper line.

CTMH Smarty Pants Scrapbook Kit

Hi everyone,

It may be back to school for some of you.  This is the first time in 20 years that I don't have a child in grade K-12 !!  It seems like yesterday that I was dropping one of my daughters off to school or at the bus stop.  My father always told me that once children start school that life goes by so quickly.  Boy, was her right!

Even though I did not take any pictures this year, I still have lots of catching up to do!  Here is a scrapbook kit that I made to help document all the Back To School stuff-- the first day, the school photos and just having fun:)

To create this kit, I used CTMH's new line called Smarty Pants.  Using my Cricut and stamps, I created some titles-- 2 Cool 4 School and Picture Perfect.  I also used the sticker sheet for the third title.

September SOTM CTMH Blog Hop

The SOTM has 16 stamps.

This SOTM is perfect for cards or scrapbook layouts.  When I saw the sentiment, I knew the perfect picture to scrap!

My daughter recently joined the Army National Guard as a Reservist.  She just completed boot camp and is now onto military police training. She'll be back home in November and will begin college in January.  Here's a LO of her saying good bye to our dog, Leo.  Leo is one of our 2 family dogs, but he is very close to Abby:)

I stamped the title using Sapphire Ink and the 'for you' using Paprika Ink.  Here is a closer look:

For the design of this page, I was inspired by Paige Evans.  She did a LO way back using this leaf technique.  I changed my a bit by making the wreath bigger and using a 4x6 photo.  I also 'swashed' on some Orange Ink and splatter Blue Shimmer.
