Stick it Down 2-page Sketch-- October 2023

Hello and happy Sunday!

October is my favorite time of the year.  The days are still long and colors in New England are spectacular!  

Here is a Layout I created for the Stick It Down 2 page sketch.  I stayed pretty true to the sketch, except I used less photos.  I really liked all the pennants because it gave me a chance to use a variety of Italy inspired paper.

If you haven't been to Italy, then put it on your list.  The sights are amazing and so is the food.  Everything tastes better in Italy, even the street sandwiches!

Stick It Down October Single Page

Hi everyone and happy fall!

This time last year, we visited Quebec City with some friends.  The weather was gorgeous and the views, stunning.

I used Stick It Down's October sketch to jump start my Quebec City scrapbook.  Below is a picture of the famous Hotel Farimont Le Chateau Frontenac.  The hotel is in the 'walled city' and is elevated.  There are lots of great views.

Below is the sketch, I followed it closely, deviating slightly.

Because I have so many pictures, I just had to create a second page.

Stick It Down-- Two Page Sketch JULY 2023

Hi everyone and welcome to summer!

To celebrate summer, I took the Stick It Down's 2 page July sketch and used it with Photoplay's new line called 'Sweet Sunshine'.

To give the layout a bit more, I stencilled some sunrays on the left page and then some waves on the right page.  I have to tell you, I am addicted to stencils!

Stick it Down two-page scrapbook layout-- June

Hello and happy June!

I'm here to showcase Stick It Down's June two-page sketch.

For this sketch, I used Fancy Pant's Prairie Rose paper line.  I fell in love with all of the flowers and bright colors.  The paper and sketch worked perfect to document my little friend's day at the farm.  I added some wood accents to give it more texture and stenciled in some hearts.

Stick It Down-- Two Page Sketch May 2023

Hi and happy May!

I love May-- the trees are blooming and there are colors everywhere. To celebrate Spring, I broke out my new Rosie's Studio Frolic line and paired it with the May sketch.

I just love the colors of this line.  To bring out the pinks, I stenciled some flowers onto the pages and used CTMH's Sundance cardstock as an accent.

Daisy, Daisy Card Class

 Hi and happy Sunday!

I'm hosting an overnight group with South Shore Scrappers on the weekend of April 20-23 in Falmouth, MA.  On Saturday at 10:30, 4/22, I'll be teaching a card class.  The class will focus on stenciling and inking.

At the class we'll be using A2 and Slim-line stencils, along with a stamp/thin cut set with coordinating stencils.  Stenciling is a great way to add some color to your projects.

For this sketch, I broke out my Rosie's Studio 'Lucky Me' paper line.  I love those Chinese cats! To give the page more interest, I cut a Heart on White CS and backed it in the Rainbow patterned paper.

Stick It Down-- Card Sketch-- March

 Hi, it's Maureen.  I'm hear to show you the March card sketch from the Stick It Down team.  

I decided to make a Baby card with this sketch.  I used CTMH's New Kid on the Block Stamp and Die set.  I paired this iwth the Daisy, Daisy paper line.

Stick It Down 2 page Layout-- March

 Hi, 

It's almost Spring and I'm so excited!  I used this sketch to document Easter 2021 for my friend.

The sketch was perfect and helped showcase all of these great memories.

The layout was created using Photoplay's Bunnies and Bloom. To give the LO more dimension, I inked up some Mintay Chippies-- Eggs and Bunny.

Are We There Yet??? 8 page scrapbook kit

 Hi everyone,

how is your February going?  It was very cold here in Massachusetts last week, but it was in the 60's today!  That is New England weather for you:)

Here is a scrapbook kit that I have been working on for a bit.  It is from the CTMH's "Are We There Yet?" line.  This line is Travel inspired.  After being in the house for years due to Covid, I hope to fill up these pages quickly!!

For this kit, I used some designs and Cricut files from a fellow CTMH maker, Jennifer Smith.  I've always loved Jen's work and was so glad to use her files.  

In this kit, I also used CTMH's Stencil Pack #1, Z6091.  This is a must have stencil pack.  I used the map and metro stencils on this layout.  A couple of months ago, I used the tropical leaves.  To use the stencils, I simply cut the stencil apart and apply whatever ink color works.  So easy!

Stick It Down-- February Card Sketch

Hello there,

I'm so excited to be on the design card sketch design team.  Scrapbooking comes very easy to me.  When I think of creating a page, so many thoughts come to my mind.  The same is not true for cards.  I struggle here.  Being on the Card Sketch team really helps!

Below is the sketch for the February card.

When I saw this sketch, I thought of a CTMH dies set that had a bunch of hearts on it.  I then taped some patterned paper behind all the hearts and stamped a Thank You sentiment.

Stick It Down-- February 2 page Layout

 Hi, Maureen here with the Stick It Down February 2 page sketch LO!!

For this challenge, I scrapped a recent tirp to Quebec City.  When I saw the large heart in the sketch and just new I needed a travel sign/globe  Well nothing worked better than this Route sign.  If took over 7 hours to drive from Boston to Quebue City!  

When we arrived in Canada at the border, we had to show our Covid Vaccine cards.  I remembered to bring mine but forgot to fill out a form that was due at the gate.  So, we had to pull into the office while I completed it:)

Stick It Down-- 2-page Layout-- January 2023

Hello and happy new year!

So happy to start this year with a great sketch from Stick It Down.

On Christmas Eve, we each picked an ornament that was special to us.  I chose to document this memory using Keep It Simple Scrapbooking (KISS)'s Scandinavian Christmas.  This line is so cute with Gnomes and Santa!

To make this LO stand out, I used Mintay's Santa and Ornament Chippies and decorated using Gina K's gold Glitter Gel.  It was a little messy, but loved the effect!
