Stick It Down-- Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Hi, I'm here to share Stick It Down's double page sketch for October!  

When I saw the fall theme of this sketch, I knew exactly what pictures I would scrap.  My daughter and one of her besties went to New Hampshire two years ago to see the foilage.  Here are some pictures of them enjoying their stay at the Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa.  

I began these pages by splattering Dina Wakely's Guilt Gloss Spray.  I then inked all the edes in CTMH's Toffee ink.  CTMH's Crisp Air paper line worked great.

Crisp Air-- 6-page Scrapbook Layout Kit

CTMH Pumpkin Cards

Hi everyone and happy almost Fall!

Summer ends on 9/22, but it sure feels like Fall here.  The temps are cooler and days shorter.  Time to put on a little jacket:)

To celebrate Fall, I created these two cute cards.  I used the Crisp Air Stamp/die set and the Seasonal Haul stamp/die set.  Both stamps are a must have!  The Crisp Air one is only available through 9/30/22.  Fortunately, the Seasonal Haul is available through 7/31/22. And, the Seasonal Haul stamp not only works for Fall, but also Christmas, Spring and Summer!  Love it.

Stick it Down 2 page Layout-- September

 Hi everyone and happy summer!

For this month's sketch, I choose to work with Mintay's Summer Vacation line.  This line can be used for traditional summer vacations or tropical ones. Here, I used it to docment my trip to Eagle Beach Aruba.

Stick It Down-- 2 page LO August 2022

Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying this long, hot summer.  It is hot, but come Janaury and February and wish we had these days back!

For the August 2022 Stick It Down 2 page sketch, I used Mintay's new line called Sunset Beach.  If you've ever been to Aruba, then you know all about their beautiful sunsets!  To capture this view, the beaches are loaded with restruants. Here's a LO from Eagle Beach.

To add some interest, I added some Mintay Chippies.  These are chipboard pieces that look like wood.  To color them, simply brush on some ink.  For this LO, I used CTMH's color of the year: MELON.

In order to showcase more pictures, I added a 6x12 flip flap.  Above is the flip flap closed and below it's open.

it sure has been a hot, hot summer!  It will cool down here in the Boston area on Wednesday.  I am looking forward to this.

Stick It Down-- July 2022 Two Page Layout

 Hello,

I will be on the Stick It Down Two Page Layout Team for July-December 2022.  Because I do two page layouts so frequently, I am excited to be on the team!

The sketch for July 2022 is shown below.

When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought of my recent trip to Lake George, NY.  While visiting Saratoga Springs, we took a drive to Lake George.  This was my first time in the Adirondacks and it was beautiful!  

For this sketch, I used Photoplay's Great Outdoors line.  For the title, I used a Cricut image and used text for Lake George.

The summer is long and full of fun.  A great way to keep up with scrapbooking is to participate in sketch challenges.  Join us in this challenge!

Let's Get Sketchy-- July

Happy 4th of July!

I'm here to show you a sketch from 'Let's Get Sketchy'. This is another design team that I am on. Sketches are great and help you jump start your creations.

When I first saw this sketch, I thought no way-- I don't have any pictures with a star theme! But, sketches give you an idea. You can replace the stars with circles, flowers, squares, whatever.

Also, when I'm doing a sketch, I try to push myself further. This month, I wanted to play with my MIntay Kreativa Chalk Ink and coordinating 'Chippies'. I also paired this with Mintay's new 'By the Sea' paper line and die cuts. Of course, I wanted to ink everything in CTMH's Desert Sand and add some Black Shimmer splatter.

To add a second page, I flipped the sketch over. This two page LO has 3 pictures, but I have 4 more pictures to add. No problem-- I used two 4x4 Flip Flaps, not shown.

All and all I'm happy. I pushed myself to use some new products and techniques. While there are some things I would like to change, I'm done. And, best of all I captured my Lighthouse excursion on Cape Cod. All is good!
