Welcome to the CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you've come here from Lauren's Blog, then you are on the right path! Should you get lost along the way, then please go to Melinda's Blog for a list of all the participants.
For my project, I was inspired by one of Jennifer McGuire's YouTube videos and created a 'Tri-angle Gatefold" Card. It took me a couple of tries, but I got the hang of it!
I decided to do a fancy fold because one of my friends is the process of selling her home. Once she moves into her new home, I want to give this card and a little gift!
For the card, I stamped the Door image onto a circle die cut and then matted it to a larger circle die cut. For the card base, I cut a 4.25 x 8.50 base and scored it in a half. Next I cut two 3.5 squares and scored them diagonally.
I choose to use the CTMH "Lovely" paper line.
Below is how the card looks when it is closed.
Once you remove the Belly Band, the card opens up.
I used the 'Congratulations on your" sentiment
Once the card is completely open, it says 'Home'.
Overall, I'm happy with this card. I tend to shy away from fancy folds and I'm glad that I gave it a try.
The 'Strong Roots' stamp of the month can be yours for only $5 if you purchase $50 in products. Or, you can earn it for free if you become a CTMH VIP. If you do not have a CTMH consultant, then please visit my store, Click here or email me.
